just came back from area camp! 'twas great! we're in bedok area, don't really know why, but all i know is like tampines got 'disbanded' cause they wanted less areas, so somehow we ended up in bedok. but it was really great anyways.
so i got there in the morning at like almost 9, and then had like intros and things, then we put our stuff in the grace chapel, and then had like 'service', and then lunch was chicken rice. then there were more games! there's this funny one i never heard of before this, don't really know what it's called, but it sounds something like wompom to me. it's kinda like hide and seek, but the catcher must step on a ball in the center of everything when he finds someone. and if you're found you go to 'jail' and the jailers get freed when the ball gets kicked by a non-prisoner. i was just hiding behind the food counter thingy the whole time, but i went out once to free the prisoners. i blended in with the prisoners then ya. it's fun. but cause i was behind the counter to waddle around in order not to be seen. and now my legs are aching like mad. and i think there were like 2 or 3 more, then i thought i heard that if sherron didn't find us in like dunno how many minutes then it'll end, so i thought i'd just sit there till it ended. then i heard someone bang on the counter, and he didn't see me lor! then someone went to likt see if i was still there. which i was. but after that i was found la. but it was really fun. then played captain's ball. i'm bad at it as usual, cause normally i just stone, but got too little people in a group to stone lor.
we did bathe~
dinner was wanton mee! omigosh, it was GOOD.
then had service. it was about visions. cause that was kinda like the 'theme' of the camp.
and then we had campfire! on the rooftop thingy. it was made up of tealights in cut up coke cans, and light sticks in bottles. but hey, that's about as good as it gets. whaddya expect? we're in church on the roof terrace. for supper, we had roti-prata. serously. and we sang campfire songs, i was like oh man! cause sec 3 camp was barely a week ago. and i'm like, not again!
but it was fun la, really fun.
slept at like 1am, and woke up at 8am. that's like more sleep i get than when i'm at home sometimes. but it was cold.
had cereals and lots of junk food like chips for breakfast. acutally it was only supposed to be cereals. but like all the shss people had like so many chips and everything, so we shared. i guess we're all well stocked. it's like we had a never ending supply of chips. haha...
then had like service again. no wait first was the qt like thing. which i almost fell asleep halfway, except i was half frozen to death. i didn't bring my jacket ): but i just can't really visualize having a cell in class and everything, but,
(wait, i forgot the phrase, so tell me if it's wrong, cause i think it is)
we belong to Jesus, and we can change tomorrow (:
something like that la. i can't remember. ohwells.
then lunch was spaghetti. we kinda tahpaoed it in little containers and walked to the beach to eat. and then we had games! FUN!
first was the frisbee thingy, and the ground was really muddy, cause the day before it rained. and then we had tug of war. that got me really muddy, cause the 2nd round we lost, we really got dragged into the mud. we lost that one really bad. joey was infront and he was already like in the banana-soap mush pit. and we were like all on the ground. the first round we lost at least still like standing up. but i think it's like kinda unfair, cause like the shss girls (except me) are like all skinny one lor. and the others are like all bigger and taller. ah wells.
then the flour war. it was corn flour. quite fun lah, we were all white, hair and everything. then the water bombs! unlike the sec 3 camp one, it was just ramdom throwing. just throw at anyone. there were so many la, we were like filling bags endlessly.
so we were all muddy, floury, wet and happy. ah shoots. i hope i'm not sun burnt. then we went to bathe.
we did bathe. then it was kinda pretty much over ): i'm kinda sad. it's over already! like so fast.
and it was WAY better than sec 3 camp. cause the games and everything were so much better. so was the sunny weather! yea, cause they prayed. so it was alot better.

oh, sorry, no pics. wanted to bring my camera, but didn't. isabel did, and was like cam whored through camp. hahas.
theory grade 6 tomorrow.
